Designing a Mobile Learning System for Diverse Learners in STEM Education

This session will showcase the design of a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) mobile learning environment, the iFIG, that supports meaningful access for diverse learners in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. Basham will share preliminary data on access, engagement, usability barriers, and design needs and will lead a discussion focused on supporting learners in a STEM environment and the process of research and development that is focused on learner experience.
