CRL Workout feedback

If you attended Jim Knight’s CRL Learns Workout session on Sept. 2, we’d like to hear from you:

1. What did you learn from the session?

2. What did you think of the format?

If you participated in Jim’s session via the live video feed and chat, we’d like to hear your answers to the following questions as well as to the questions above:

3. Was the live video feed effective?

4. Would you participate via video and chat again, if offered?

Finally, another question for everybody:

5. What changes would you recommend?

You can answer in the comments section after this post or email your answers to jtollefson@ku.edu. Thanks!

It was an OK online experience. I could easily detach and get other stuff done because I didn’t really feel a part of what was going on. The difficulty was that the online folks were not engaged in the conversation because only the moderator could see the questions/comments and had to contribute them in a “he said” manner. It seems that the room in which the presentation is provided should also have the online comments and video displayed. If so, then everyone could see the online comments, as we could see the live questions and interactions, making both venues more integrated…
